Experiencing the life of people in the slum was a very unique and unbelievable experience. The tour guide Dinesh took me to the places around the slum where I felt like it’s a city inside the city. The recycling, pottery, and leather industry visit were really nice. The guide was very friendly and informative. JUST GO FOR IT!!!!

I remember calling up Dinesh at about 11pm in the November of 2016 to book a tour of the slums with my cousin for our project the following day.
Thanks to Dinesh, the founder and single man army of the Mumbai Dream Tours project. His insights made it possible for us to explore the most sensitive and phenomenal areas within Dharavi and meet the most resourceful persons in the neighbourhood the very next day.
Undoubtedly one of the best guides in the city, his astounding sense of direction, astuteness, knowledge base and the ability to speak in Hindi, Marathi and English with the same fluency allows every local or tourist visiting the slum area an experience of a lifetime in exploring the rich, vibrant locale and culture of Dharavi.

Our tour was fantastic! If you are coming to Mumbai, you must use this tour company! Dinesh was wonderful. He gave amazing details and brought us to amazing sights! His English was wonderful and so easy to understand! He made sure to help my family have a wonderful adventure that we would have missed otherwise! He showed us the Gateway of India, Crawford Market, Gandhi museum and he found the best shops and spices for us. We visited the slum area of Dharavi and saw such amazing harmony among the people and such wonderful pottery and leather makers! We also saw people doing hard work and providing for themselves and their family. When we return, we will definitely book again. Thank you for showing us this wonderful city and such an amazing view of the world.

Elephanta caves
Very nice half day tour to Elephanta Island and the caves. The tour was very will organized, the local guide was ecxellent and spoke good and clear English. The history of the caves is really interesting.

A wonderful experience
Enjoyed a fascinating 2 hours walking through Dharavi Slum with Dinesh whose knowledge of the place was excellent having lived there all his life. With a contribution of US $1 Billion to the Indian economy the people residing there are very proud of what they are achieving through the re-cycling of waste.
